Launched in September 2007 by Andrea Palmer, Hands-on-HR is based near Malvern, providing affordable, Human Resources/Personnel support to small and medium sized businesses across The Midlands, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Prior to setting up Hand-on-HR Limited, Andrea worked for Business and Tax Advisers, Rabjohns LLP as their HR Director. Andrea is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Governor at St Richard's Hospice in Worcester.

During her time at Rabjohns, Andrea gained a wealth of experience providing HR support to both the Rabjohns team and HR consultancy services to a cross section of their clients, ranging from ad hoc employment law advice, recruitment and training courses to auditing policies and procedures.

Andrea works closely with the Director of Fundraising at St Richard's Hospice in organising the Worcestershire Women of the Year luncheon. This prestigious awards ceremony takes place every two years and recognises Worcestershire women who have made a considerable contribution to the county.
